I came across this great article from Forbes today, originally published a few weeks ago, about how Instagram is the hot new spot for organic book marketing. I've definitely bought books after seeing them on Instagram, and they've never been from paid ads—just people I follow who recommend things from time to time. This quote really resonated with me:
